A leading construction company is seeking a Site Manager to oversee RC frame and infrastructure projects in Birmingham/Coventry. This leading contractor has over experience in delivering complex projects across the UK and Ireland within Civil & Infrastructure related projects. - Overseeing site compliance and ensuring all works adhere to company and regulatory standards.
- Organising labour and resources effectively to maintain smooth site operations.
- Managing material usage to keep stock levels efficient and minimise waste.
- Implementing company quality control processes, including regular checks and inspections.
- Tracking and managing production costs, authorising contractor and trade payments where appropriate.
- Leading toolbox talks and on-site briefings to reinforce safety and best practices.
- Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to keep the build programme on track.
- Maintaining excellent site presentation at all times to uphold company standards.
- Proven experience managing RC frame and infrastructure projects, with strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, and reinforced concrete structures.
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid at Work certifications (Temporary Works Coordinator desirable).
- Ability to lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, quality, and compliance standards within civil engineering.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate resources and liaise effectively with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
