Be part of a team that prides itself on delivering bespoke insurance solutions for international clients. As a Cargo Broker, you’ll work in a 360° role, handling client relationships from inception to completion, and contributing to the growth of the business through technical expertise and exceptional client service.

Client Relationship Management

1. Handle the full client journey, from risk assessment and placement to policy documentation and renewals.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters.
3. Provide high-level service, addressing queries promptly and ensuring client satisfaction.

Risk Placement

1. Negotiate competitive terms with Lloyd’s and London Market underwriters.
2. Prepare and review market documentation, including slip production, wordings, and clauses.
3. Deliver tailored solutions for a complex international portfolio, including Europe, Asia, and LATAM.

Market Engagement

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with Lloyd’s and London Market underwriters.
2. Travel occasionally to meet clients and underwriters, strengthening partnerships and understanding client needs.

1. A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Lloyd’s Insurance Market.
2. Proven expertise in managing international Cargo risks and negotiating placements.
3. Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s practices, systems, and processes.
4. Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
5. Reputation for professionalism and credibility with brokers and underwriters.

1. Salary range: £70k - £100k.
2. Hybrid working arrangements based in the City of London.
