A recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant for a rewarding role in the Wirral area. The successful candidate will support a pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in a warm primary school environment. Responsibilities include helping the pupil engage with learning and develop positive relationships while working alongside teachers and support staff. Academics Ltd are currently recruiting for a dedicated 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils in the Wirral area.
We are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within a warm and welcoming primary school setting. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about making a real difference to a child who requires additional emotional and behavioural support.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the pupil regulate emotions, engage with learning, and develop positive relationships, both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff to implement tailored strategies that promote inclusion and progress.
