Salary: Starting at £11.90 per hour, increase depending on experience
Location: Penrith (FREE transport from Carlisle and Penrith)

NXT is proud to be working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Penrith as we recruit a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. You will be working in a methodical role that requires good attention to detail and care. You must ensure that standards are kept to the highest standard and that all operations are compliant.

Full training will be provided, but a can-do, positive attitude and attention to detail are essential.

Duties will include:

• Performing regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Conducting visual and functional inspections to identify defects
• Carrying out various tests and routine taking swaps on product and equipment
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of inspection and test results
• Investigating and identifying causes for any issues and non-conformities
• Supporting internal audits and identifying opportunities to make improvements
• Ensuring production is running smoothly and supporting the managing team

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent communication skills are essential
• You must have good attention to detail and be able to spot things that others might miss!
• Methodical, process driven, and accountable
• Capable of working to a consistently high standard
