Position: Production Manager
Location: Hebron, OH Plant

As a member of the Production team, the Plant Production Manager will oversee activities related to the production of company products, either personally or through subordinate team coaches.

The Role:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Enforcing health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Directing and coordinating activities of employees engaged in producing polyurethane foam cushions.
• Collaborating with senior management to coordinate operations across departments.
• Planning work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet goals.
• Training employees on equipment operations, work, and safety procedures.
• Resolving worker problems and complaints with management or staff.
• Providing guidance, setting performance standards, and monitoring staff performance.
• Fostering mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
• Developing budgets, requisitioning supplies, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Reviewing operations and resolving production issues with technical or administrative staff.
• Managing production areas to meet objectives like efficiency, productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitoring production runs and correcting issues to stay on schedule.
• Implementing process improvements for efficiency.
• Recommending training and reorganization strategies for manufacturing processes.

Your Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years in a management or supervisory role in the automotive industry.
• At least five years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, production methods, and coordination.
• Understanding of mathematics and statistics applicable to manufacturing.
• Knowledge of machinery, tools, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with automotive plant functions such as maintenance, quality, safety, and materials management.

Bonus If You Have:

• Knowledge of ISO14001, OSHA, TS16949 standards.
• Experience in the automotive polyurethane industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
