Job summary
A design engineering start-up is looking for a Production Engineer to bridge the gap between design and production. This role involves verifying and validating products, troubleshooting production issues, and producing essential documentation. The ideal candidate will bring experience in production engineering, especially in testing and validation, and the ability to communicate technical information across teams. - Experience seeing designs through to production, establishing root cause of issues.
- Experience in testing and validation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and BOMs.
- Experience communicating technical information between design, production, and customers.
- Desire to take ownership of Production Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Verification and validation testing to confirm performance, durability and safety.
- Producing documentation including test plans and compliance reports.
- Establishing SOPs and quality control.
- Troubleshooting issues in production.
- Working closely with OEM partners to provide technical support.
