Job Description

As a Specification Technologist, you will create, maintain, and update product specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry regulations, and quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Production, to ensure all product specifications are accurate and up to date.

1. Create, review, and maintain product specifications for new and existing products.
2. Ensure compliance with relevant food safety standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for specification development.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to product specifications.
5. Support the quality assurance team in conducting product testing and audits.
6. Assist with customer queries related to product specifications and provide technical support as needed.
7. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and update specifications accordingly.

1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience in a similar role within the food industry.
3. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry standards.
4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
