This opportunity is based on a brand-new development of 350 homes and apartments, offering long‑term career progression within a supportive and well‑structured environment.
Reporting directly to the Senior Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of the project, taking responsibility for procurement, cost control, valuations, and subcontractor management as the development progresses through multiple phases.
- Assist the Senior Project QS with cost planning, reporting, and financial management.
- Support in tendering and procurement of subcontract packages.
- Manage and assess subcontractor applications, variations, and payments.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and expenditure.
- Liaise closely with site teams to ensure accurate commercial reporting.
- Contribute to maintaining strong supply‑chain relationships.
- 2+ years' experience working with a Residential Developer, Specialist Subcontractor, or Main Contractor.
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes.
- Good commercial awareness with the ability to work both independently and as part of a project team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to develop professionally.
