A family-run medical practice in Birmingham seeks a Medical Healthcare Assistant to provide essential clinical and personal care to patients. You will be responsible for conducting health checks, managing wound care, and assisting in various clinical tasks under the supervision of registered healthcare professionals. Qualifications
- 1-2 years of medical HCA experience within secondary or primary care.
- Experience in a GP setting is desirable.
- Basic clinical awareness and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Perform wound care and new patient health checks.
- Conduct contraception and BP reviews.
- Engage in pre-diabetic and learning disability checks.
- Assist GP with coil/implant insertion & removal.
- Ensure infection control and perform home visits.
