Job Description:
We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. As Senior Network, Voice & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and delivering network and voice services to meet current and future business requirements. This role is onsite in Aberdeen with a hybrid working model.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to the IS strategy and roadmap, developing relevant objectives for the area.
- Collaborate with the Network & Voice Technical Lead and supply chain to support IS operations sourcing strategy and partner relationships.
- Assist in developing the annual IS operations budget for network, voice, and security.
- Support workforce planning to ensure IS operations can meet demand.
- Manage the ITSM landscape and service levels based on best practices.
- Oversee security, performance, stability, maintenance, and monitoring of network and voice services.
- Work with the IS Security Cyber Operations team to ensure security tooling is operational with governance, reporting, and KPIs.
- Follow enterprise technology standards, governance, and performance metrics.
- Drive service improvements and develop asset inventories.
- Establish and monitor controls for IS operations processes.
- Lead development activities via product lines, COEs, or project frameworks.
- Ensure IS operational capabilities meet regulatory and statutory compliance.
- Provide out-of-hours support if required.
