Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Leicester Forest East is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to work a 4 On, 4 Off shift pattern. The role offers a base salary of up to £50,000 per annum plus overtime, with an achievable earning potential of £56,000 and upwards. Candidates with both mechanical and electrical backgrounds are encouraged to apply, with training provided for electrical aspects. This position emphasizes maintaining, servicing, and repairing automated plant machinery, ensuring minimal production downtime.

- An electrical understanding, including changing like-for-like parts and basic fault finding, would be beneficial.

- To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.
- PPMs (preventive planned maintenance).

- To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.
- PPMs (preventive planned maintenance).
- Time served apprentice trained or above.
- Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
- An electrical understanding, including changing like-for-like parts and basic fault finding, would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provides electrical courses offsite).
- Commutable from: Leicester, Enderby, Hinckley, Wigston, Loughborough, Rothley and surrounding areas.
