Job summary
A leading law firm in London seeks a part-qualified Patent Attorney to join their team. This role offers the chance to work closely with product-driven clients in sectors like Med-Tech and Software. Qualifications
- Part-qualified Patent Attorney with strong client management skills.
- Ability to advise on patent filing strategies.
- Experience with Med-Tech, Fin-Tech, AI, Automotive sectors is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Draft and prosecute patent applications for various sectors.
- Manage and prioritize own caseload.
- Work in partnership with clients and IP stakeholders.

Education
You are a part-qualified Patent Attorney currently working in a private practice, full-service law firm or in-house department looking to make an exciting career move.
You are a technically astute Patent Attorney in training with the ability to quickly understand a broad range of Electronic Engineering, Software or Physics related subject matter. You possess an innate interest in new technology and relish the opportunity to advise inventors on a range of patent filing strategies. Naturally, you also pride yourself on your direct client management and relationship building skills, coupled with your ability to prioritise and take responsibility for your own caseloads.
You have successfully passed the UK Foundation examinations and are working towards qualifying as both a UK and European Patent Attorney; you may be awaiting results from one set of exams, or preparing to take finals papers in the coming months.
