A reputable accountancy practice in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant. This full-time role includes bookkeeping for clients, processing invoices, bank reconciliation, and VAT returns. The ideal candidate should have previous accounting experience, skills in Sage or Xero, and be working towards an accounting qualification like AAT. The position starts as office-based during training but will transition to hybrid working. Ongoing training and study support is provided after the probation period.
We are actively representing a well established Accountancy Practice in their search for a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Initially this role will be office based during the training period, however it will revert to a hybrid role once the training period has been completed.
Working as part of a well established team, this role will require you to work full time 37.5 hours per week, reporting to the Accounts Supervisor.
The client is flexible on days / hours required to suit individual circumstances, but they also offer ongoing training and development for the right person, along with study support once probationary period is completed.
This role will initially be office based during training period, however hybrid working will be available, all applicants must live within a commutable distance from St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
