About the job

The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer develops Tether's open-source toolkit for self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop. Responsibilities include technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit. Experience with wallet creation or DeFi is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to innovative projects using agile methodologies and emerging technologies.
• Ensure backend services are scalable, responsive, and real-time to support growth.
• Maintain high security standards to protect user assets and data.

Required experience includes building or integrating crypto wallets for DeFi/blockchain, modular architecture, developing complex platforms and APIs, quick adaptation to new tech, and strong security practices.

Experience with high-availability systems, knowledge of Go, Rust, C++, familiarity with message queues (Redis), caches, job queues, and mobile development with React Native, Flutter, or native platforms.
