Responsibilities include conducting routine medical tests and managing documentation with full training provided. The Recruiting Group conducts Assessment Centres (AC) for candidates wanting to become a soldier in the British Army. This dual role includes performing standard medical tests as well as administrative duties.
No medical experience required - full training provided
Location: Pirbright Assessment Centre, Surrey
Hours: 37.5 per week, with occasional Saturday work (TOIL available)
Clinical Administrator
- Carrying out routine medical screening tests, such as audiometry, ECG, vision, height/weight, BMI, urinalysis, and spirometry
- Preparing and managing medical documentation and ID verification
- Recording results accurately in both written and digital formats
- Liaising with healthcare professionals and external agencies
- Handling general admin tasks including correspondence, filing, and photocopying
- Must be IT literate and comfortable using inhouse database
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and processes
- Comfortable in carrying out physical checks on potential recruits
- Experience within a medical environment is desirable
- Familiarity with the army would be an advantage
