Job summary
An organisation providing personal assistance services is seeking a Female PA to support a cheerful 14-year-old girl in Leeds. The candidate will help with social activities, personal care, and engage in various leisure pursuits. The role offers a pay rate of £12.40 per hour (gross) plus additional compensation for flexibility. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and have an interest in supporting children with special needs.
Qualifications
- Must be a car driver.
- Experience in supporting children with Autism/Aspergers is a plus.
- Interest in engaging with a young girl in social and leisure activities.
Responsibilities
- Support the girl with social activities.
- Engage in leisure activities such as playing and drawing.
- Provide personal care as required.
Skills
A great opportunity has arisen for a female PA to support a 14-year-old girl with social activities on weekends in the LS17 area of Leeds.
The rate of pay is £12.40 per hour (gross) + £2 extra per hour. A car driver is preferred, with 4 hours of work on weekends during term time and 6 hours during school holidays, which can be on weekdays or weekends.
The ideal candidate will be interested in supporting a happy and cheerful young girl in her home and community. She enjoys activities such as playing in the park, garden, and indoors, and has a love for music and dance. She uses Picture Exchange Communication (PECs) and single words to express her wants and needs.
The role will involve supporting the young girl in her home, building a relationship, and engaging in various activities such as playing, drawing, and music. The goal is to eventually take her on outings to the park and other suitable activities.
There are 4 hours of work per week, with an additional 2 hours during school holidays, which can be flexible over weekends and weekdays. These hours will be arranged in advance with her parents.
