Job Description Summary

The IT Manager for Manufacturing is responsible for the strategy and direction of a product and oversees the execution of the product development process.

Job Description

Operational:

• Support of the Global Plant Floor Solutions and Manufacturing Processes: Manufacturing Execution Systems, Quality Management Systems, SCADA, Industrial Data Platforms and Integration of Data from various sources from the manufacturing processes
• Responsible for significant enterprise global applications and other medium sized applications with smaller application oversight
• Responsible for full application management which includes enhancements, upgrades, vendor coordination, and integration coordination
• Manages all contracts (existing and new) related to assigned applications
• Holding vendors accountable for SLAs in coordination with procurement
• Responsible for oversight of assigned team members duties for each application/active project assigned
• Incorporates ITIL best practices in delivering exceptional customer support
• Drives user adoption of assigned applications and educates existing users on new features
• Identify and execute on opportunities within our application portfolio
• Responsible for Operational Budget for assigned applications

Enterprise Coordination:

• Coordinates Quarterly Business Reviews for their assigned applications with Business Leadership and Vendors
• Works with all necessary teams to proactively ensure the overall health of the application and underlying infrastructure including upgrades, monitoring, and maintenance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the organization to drive results.
• Champions expansion (breadth of business capabilities) of key applications by working with Business Relationship Managers and Architecture
• Oversight of active projects related to manufacturing applications: Includes, but not limited to: Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Suite of Applications, Colos, and Quality Management Systems

Innovation:

• Plan the technology roadmap for each application including Global expansion of applications
• Work with Big Data and AI/ML solutions such as vision AI for improving manufacturing quality
• Work to manage, enhance and drive common plant floor solutions globally
• Expertise in transforming manufacturing operations
• Partner with Strategic Vendors to introduce innovative technology to plants

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Applications
• 5 years of people management
• Preferred experience in low code/no code solutions
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodology
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud solutions
• Experience with IIoT data from equipment and sensors
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to construct, configure, install and maintain complex applications and system software
• Experience with translating business requirements into technical solutions/plans for engineers
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written
• 10%-20% travel may be required, including International

A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $113,930.00 - $170,900.00
