- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons for GCSE resits, Functional Skills, and/or A-Level programmes
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those returning to education
- Provide constructive feedback, track progress, and maintain accurate assessment records
- Support learners with study skills, literacy development, and exam preparation
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the English department
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
- Relevant degree or strong subject knowledge in English Language and/or Literature
- Experience teaching post-16 learners, ideally within an FE setting
- Excellent communication skills and a student-centred approach as English Teacher
