A vehicle maintenance company in Dukinfield is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles. The ideal candidate should have a Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance & Repair and hands-on experience in a workshop. You'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting a range of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring all work meets DVSA standards. - Carry out servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance on HGVs and trailers
- Diagnose and repair faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Perform safety inspections and record all findings in line with DVSA standards
- Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately
- Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all tasks
- Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Hands‑on experience working with HGVs in a workshop environment
- Strong technical and diagnostic knowledge
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- HGV Class 1 or 2 licence
- IRTEC accreditation
