Diamond Drilling Technician — Core Extraction
Job summary
A drilling services company based in the UK is seeking a Diamond Driller to operate diamond drilling equipment and ensure safety on site. The role involves performing routine maintenance, preparing sites, and accurately recording drilling parameters. Candidates should have experience in diamond drilling, a valid CSCS card, and strong mechanical skills. Effective communication and the ability to work within a team are essential. This position requires good physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in diamond drilling or a similar role (preferred).
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card (preferred).
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate diamond drilling equipment to extract core samples.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment.
- Prepare drilling sites and ensure safety measures are in place.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Accurately record drilling parameters and core samples.
