A leading recruitment agency in the UK is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager for a remote contract lasting 6 months. The ideal candidate should be a fully qualified accountant with experience in the public sector. Responsibilities include leading the financial forecasting and budgeting processes, developing robust financial models, and guiding a finance team to deliver accurate financial information. This contract position offers a competitive rate of around £450 per day.

- Proven process improvement skills and team leadership.

- Lead preparation of forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Develop financial models to assess risks and opportunities.

My client is seeking a hands on Finance Manager for 6 months to join their dynamic finance team. This is a remote position, but you must reside in the UK.
- Leading the preparation of forecasting, budgeting and long-range plans
- Develop accurate and robust financial models to identify opportunities and assess potential risks
- High-level analysis of financial information, supporting and challenging budget holders
- Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring all financial information is in line with reporting standards
- Liaising with the wider finance team to identify areas of improvement for finance systems and processes
- Manage the finance team, ensuring they are meeting their deliverables and delivering timely financial information
- Fully qualified accountant
- Experience working in the public sector
- Proven track record identifying and implementing areas for process improvements
- Comfortable leading and managing a team
