Senior Client Manager

A prominent accounting firm in Eastbourne is seeking a Senior Client Manager to oversee accounts and client relationships. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified with strong communication and organizational skills. This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000, 25 days annual leave, and private health insurance.

- Reporting to and working alongside associate/partner.
- Reviewing work and finalising accounts, tax returns, letters and fees.
- Reviewing client and HMRC correspondence and drafting responses.
- Assisting with ad hoc advisory matters like financial forecasts.
- Dealing with ad hoc client queries/advice (tax, Xero, etc.).
- Managing the team with regards to training, attendance and holiday.
- Oversee the workflow of the team.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with clients and colleagues.

- Reviewing work and finalising accounts, tax returns, letters and fees to a standard and sending them directly to the client
- Reviewing client and HMRC correspondence and drafting responses or communicating directly with the client
- Assisting with ad hoc advisory matters, such as, financial forecasts, incorporation and management accounts
- Dealing with ad hoc client queries/advice (tax, Xero, etc.)
- Managing the team with regards to training, attendance and holiday
- Oversee the workflow of the team
- Competent use of accountancy and taxation software – Xero, CCH, Excel, Word
- Maintain a professional working relationship with both clients and colleagues
- Qualified ACA or ACCA
- Confidentiality
- Experience of supervising and training staff
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Good IT skills
- Competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

- Pension contribution increased to 5% after 2 years
