Senior Planner– Infrastructure

Location – Greater Manchester, Staffordshire or Yorkshire

LA North (flexible location covering projects in Staffordshire, Leeds, West and South Yorkshire, and Greater Manchester)

Role Overview:

As Senior Planner, you will develop, update, and manage the construction programme to ensure on-time delivery.

The Scope:

We are seeking a talented Senior Planner to assist in the construction and ECI phases of projects in the Midlands and South, valued between [specific amount needed].

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in creating a safe working environment.
• Update and maintain the Construction Programmes, ensuring schedules are robust and realistic.
• Review and develop construction sequences considering project constraints.
• Facilitate construction readiness planning.
• Coordinate and facilitate collaborative planning sessions with clients and supply chain.
• Cost load schedules and generate Earned Value Analysis if required.
• Update schedules monthly and analyze impacts of various events.
• Assess subcontractor programme submissions.

About You:

We seek passionate individuals with a proven track record in planning major civils projects, particularly in highways and public realm sectors. Experience with contracting environments and tools like P, Asta, and MS Project is essential. Ideally, you will have progressed from a site engineering background, understanding the construction process firsthand.
