Job summary
A leading construction firm in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager for a freelance role. You will be responsible for overseeing all electrical works on a commercial office fit-out project. Your role involves leading a team of electrical supervisors and electricians, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with other trades. Proven experience in commercial projects and a valid ECS Gold Card are essential. This position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled professionals in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Manager or Senior Electrical Supervisor on commercial projects.
- Strong background in commercial office fit-outs / CAT A / CAT B projects.
- Strong understanding of current electrical regulations and site safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Overall management of the electrical works on a commercial office fit-out project.
- Manage and coordinate electrical supervisors, electricians, and specialist subcontractors.
- Plan and monitor works, track progress, and proactively manage risks and delays.
