A healthcare institution in the UK is seeking a motivated individual for a Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician position. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract starting February 2026, providing training to achieve registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, supporting pharmacy operations, and maintaining professional standards. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to training and service delivery.
University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for this role. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply for this role; however it is important to note that UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa. You must also have at least six months until your graduate visa expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to become part of the pharmacy workforce at University Hospital of North Midlands. This is a training post to learn the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to become a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
The post is a 2‑year fixed‑term contract for a Pre‑Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship, commencing in February 2026, subject to satisfactory pre‑employment checks in line with GPhC requirements, NHS Employment Check Standards and Apprenticeship requirements.
