A not for profit organization in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance to lead its finance function. This is a hands-on role overseeing all aspects of financial management while supporting the organisation to deliver on its mission.

The Interim Head of Finance will manage a small finance team of two and take responsibility for:

• Producing management accounts and financial reporting.
• Leading on budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
• Ensuring effective use of Sage and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Supporting senior leaders and trustees with financial insights to aid decision-making.
• Overseeing day-to-day finance operations and ensuring strong financial controls.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills, with proven experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Confident leader able to manage, support, and develop a small team.
• Hands-on and adaptable, with the ability to balance operational and strategic demands.
