Job Title: 2nd/3rd Line Engineer

Location: West Midlands – 4 days a week on site

Contract Type: 3-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd/3rd Line Engineer to join our team on a 3-month hybrid contract based in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Microsoft 365 (M365) stack and a strong understanding of Salesforce support. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and support of our IT infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide 2nd line support for all IT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
2. Manage and support the M365 stack, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
3. Offer support and troubleshooting for Salesforce, assisting users with any issues and ensuring optimal performance.
4. Collaborate with 1st line support to escalate and resolve complex issues.
5. Maintain and update documentation related to IT processes and procedures.
6. Participate in the deployment and configuration of new systems and applications.
7. Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures, particularly those related to security and data protection.
8. Provide training and guidance to junior team members and end-users as needed.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven experience in a 2nd line support role, preferably in a senior capacity.
2. Strong expertise in the Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
3. Experience with Salesforce support and troubleshooting.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Salesforce Administrator) are a plus.
