Client Management Accountant — Gloucester

• Strong management accounting expertise (budgets, forecasts, cash flow)
• Solid financial analysis skills with ability to spot trends and variances
• Proficiency with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks)
• Clear communication skills to explain financial information to clients
• Strong client relationship skills, building trust and rapport
• Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach

• Experience with advanced reporting software/tools
• Ability to suggest and implement process improvements
• Commercial awareness to provide wider business insights
• Adaptability to client feedback and changing needs
• Awareness of sustainability and ethical business practices
• Ideally practice experience

• Prepare and present accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Support clients with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Provide analysis and insights to support decision-making
• Keep accounts up to date to ensure smooth year-end processes
• Build strong, long-term client relationships through clear reporting and advice
• Use cloud accounting and reporting software to deliver tailored insights
• Identify and recommend process improvements, embracing digital solutions
• Promote GM culture by modelling positive behaviours and supporting diversity
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate and consistent data entry across systems
• Act with confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity at all times
• Support initiatives to improve profitability, efficiency, and client service
• Promote sustainability by encouraging ethical and environmentally friendly practices
