A housing maintenance organization in King's Lynn and West Norfolk seeks a Carpenter to join the Home and Community Maintenance team. In this role, you will perform essential repairs and maintenance, ensuring homes are safe and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have 3 years' experience in an engineering trade, a City & Guilds qualification, and a strong commitment to customer service and safety. Deliver high-quality carpentry services that make a real impact. We’re looking for a Carpenter to join our Home and Community Maintenance team at Freebridge Community Housing. In this hands‑on role, you’ll carry out essential repairs and maintenance across our housing stock, using your trade expertise to ensure homes are safe, well‑maintained, and finished to the highest standards. You’ll work as part of our in‑house team, diagnosing issues, planning and completing works, and keeping residents informed throughout. This is a great opportunity to use your carpentry skills in a role that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and putting customers first.
Our Freebridge Community Housing goal is to provide affordable, safe, and quality homes for current and future generations, for those who need a place to call home. Freebridge was set up in 2006 to receive the transfer of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk’s housing stock. We now have over 7500 properties across west and north Norfolk, in addition to building new homes for social and affordable rent, and to support those who want to move into shared home ownership. We’ve had numerous achievements, including delivering our tenants’ promises and bringing homes to the Decent Homes Standard, affording our customers a much better quality of living.
