A leading grocery retailer in the United Kingdom is seeking a Buyer to work with key suppliers and manage category P&L. This role involves negotiating business plans and understanding customer needs. Ideal candidates will thrive in a hybrid work environment, understanding the balance between collaboration and flexibility. As a Buyer, you will work collaboratively with key suppliers and with internal stakeholders alike in order to deliver sales, pricing and growth ahead of the market while helping to manage the category P&L. You will negotiate and deliver business plans as well as understand customers and implement strategies that meets their needs. You will also need to understand, track & negotiate around key commodities and deliver cost to serve programmes with suppliers to ensure great value for our customers.

Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
