Talentedge is exclusively partnering with an international Data Services scaleup on their London-based Finance Director role. The company is industry-leading in diversifying and expanding its products, services, and global reach.

As the Finance Director, you will partner closely with the CEO/Founder to drive commercial initiatives, strategies, and ensure finance acts as a business partner supporting global expansion, new products, and new geographies.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, startups, and seeking a broad finance role covering commercial finance, accounting, and project work.

1. Enhance and own the finance infrastructure, ensuring processes and controls are scalable and automated.
2. Manage daily finance operations, including monthly Board reports, statutory reporting, tax, and transactional finance (AP/AR).
3. Lead commercial initiatives with the CEO, including future fundraising efforts.
4. Create business cases for new product launches and geographical expansion.
5. Partner with cross-functional teams.
6. Analyze and report on company-wide financial and non-financial KPIs.
7. Utilize Xero and its ecosystem of apps.
8. Mentor and grow a finance team of at least 3 members.

• Qualified accountant with a strong academic background.
• Experience in high-growth scaleups (Series A onwards), with involvement in business transactions such as fundraising, M&A, new product launches, and expansion.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, BI, and data visualization tools.
• Analytical, data-driven approach.
