Technical Business Analyst
Job summary
A leading IT consultancy in Gloucester seeks a Technical Business Analyst for a permanent role. Responsibilities:
- Translate business objectives into technical features and user stories to guide product development and delivery
- Utilize IT Delivery Frameworks and DevOps practices to facilitate CI/CD pipelines for smooth delivery
- Conduct system and data analysis to identify improvements and inform decisions
- Assist with managing product roadmaps, prioritization, and backlog refinement, collaborating with product owners, developers, architects, and QA teams
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in designing and developing technology-based products
- Experience with technical architecture and technical writing
- Skills in data analysis, data modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI); willingness to learn database schemas and data manipulation
- Ability to facilitate end-to-end delivery from research to release
- Experience in managing agile backlogs and understanding delivery methodologies like Scrum, SAFE, and Waterfall
- Interest in contributing to the growth of the internal BA community
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, changing environments
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in sectors such as Public Sector, Utilities, Financial Services, Consumer Products, and Retail
- Supporting internal operations like recruitment, client development, line management, training, and mentoring
- Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile Delivery, User-Centered Design, etc.
