Overview:
Join Coinbase’s Consumer Product Group to build the next generation of crypto products, focusing on frontend development for scalable, high-performance applications. Work on the Coinbase app and related products, solving complex technical problems that bridge web-scale and blockchain tech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write high-quality, well-tested frontend code, primarily using React and related frameworks.
- Deliver scoped technical projects independently from start to finish.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and the Country Manager to tailor Coinbase’s offerings to the UK market.
- Use data-driven decision-making to experiment and improve user experience.
- Build resilient, scalable microservices supporting frontend features.
Requirements:
- Up to 2 years of industry experience (internship and/or full-time).
- Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks (1+ year preferred).
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Passion for blockchain technology and open financial systems.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in finance or crypto-related engineering teams.
- Active user of crypto exchanges or decentralized apps (dapps).
- University graduate.
