Senior Full Stack Developer - Job Description

This is a UK office-based position based in Knutsford. You must be willing to commute to the office every day. Hybrid after 1 month probation.

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Senior Full Stack Developer based at our Knutsford, Cheshire office. As Custodia Technology experiences rapid growth, we are seeking a Senior Developer who will play a pivotal role in the success of the company. This role involves driving innovation, exploring new technologies, and working on enterprise-grade software systems with cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements for existing systems.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot Framework, and MongoDB.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.js or Angular.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Core Competency Requirements

• Experience with cloud-hosted architectures and microservices.
• Exposure to different systems integration technologies for example RESTful APIs, Message Queuing, Web Hooks, etc.
• Experience with Unit/Integration Testing.
• Experience with telecommunications or finance-related industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
