A regional health authority based in Aberdeen is offering positions for Modern Apprentices (Nursery Assistants) at Little Acorns Day Nursery. The successful candidates will engage in a 2-year training contract, completing essential qualifications while working within a professional nursery team. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 National 5 Grades, showcasing their passion and enthusiasm for a career in childcare. Competitive salary and career development opportunities are provided.

Band 2 – (£25,694 -£27,900)
37 hours per week – 2 year training contract
Little Acorns Day Nursery offers excellent opportunities for you to develop a career in childcare – you will be working with an innovative and motivated nursery team delivering a high standard of childcare within the nursery setting for NHS Grampian employees.
It is hoped that the successful candidates will be able to commence employment in November/December 2025 and will participate in a variety of job-rotational placements providing an excellent range of work experience. This post is a 2 year training contract, and the successful candidate will be required to complete Social Services (Children & Young People) qualifications Level 2 (scqf level 6) and participate in other organisational personal development activities associated with the post. Applicants must possess the following qualifications at the time of application.
