Pennine Recruitment, acting as an employment agency, is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for an established international manufacturing business in the West Yorkshire area. This is a permanent position working on a 3‑shift rotating pattern – 6‑2/2‑10/10‑6 with some weekend cover on a rota. The starting salary is £45,848 PA, with weekends paid at time and a half/double time as overtime. This is a role with a growing company and a variety of internal opportunities.

• Ensure all safety protocols are followed
• Root cause analysis / fault finding and diagnosis on a range of mechanical and electrical factory equipment
• Carry out planned maintenance
• Offer solutions to improve downtime and health and safety on and around the machinery
• Working in a team environment and capable of working independently

• Time served / Apprentice trained or to Degree/HNC level or equivalent
• Experience of mechanical engineering in a heavy industry environment
• Understanding of PLC and general electrical knowledge to a basic or intermediate level
• Lathe / Milling and fabrication experience to a basic / intermediate level
