Working Hours: 37 hours - Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Fixed term for 15 months

About the Role

As an Apprentice with I&T, you will have a fantastic opportunity to study and learn in a fast paced environment as well as working towards an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration. The training we provide will be tailored to your individual needs and will be supported by the Corporate Learning and Development team. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills through gaining practical experience of providing support to users of our highest profile Business applications within the Authority. Duties will include the processing of IT access requests, performing a triage role on incoming requests, and processing simple 1st line calls to resolution for IT business systems. This is a real opportunity to gain experience in how real world applications are used, supported, configured and maintained, and how they ultimately contribute to the successful provision of Social Care and Education support services to the people of Leicestershire.

Apprenticeship Overview

Expected apprenticeship duration: 15 months

Apprenticeship level: Advanced (Level 3)

Programme: L3 Business Administrator

During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with our Learning Development Team, delivered through combined workplace assessment/training and online learning working towards completing the L3 Business Administrator standard.

We also expect you to share our commitment to our values and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.
