Reuters is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and grow its conferences and events business, Reuters Events. Reuters Events, part of Reuters Professional, creates impactful, high-profile events that bring together industry leaders, influencers, and experts from across the globe to share knowledge, ignite innovation, and facilitate meaningful connections.
As General Manager of Reuters Events, you’ll take a strategic leadership position that will allow you to drive business growth, develop our product strategy and manage the operations of the events business. You will be responsible for setting the strategic and product vision for Reuters Events, overseeing both operational KPIs and the P&L, and will work collaboratively across departments within Reuters Professional. As our General Manager, you’ll lead our established Delegate Sales, Production, Marketing and Event Ops teams and, as a key senior leader within Reuters Professional, will work closely with the wider commercial (i.e. digital and speciality) teams within Reuters.
