A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking an Adult's Social Worker to join a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Social Work and possess at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include processing incoming referrals and working closely with various services. This role offers £32.49 per hour and a hybrid working model.
We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team.
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience.
This fast paced team takes incoming social care referrals via telephone or in written format to safeguard adults at risk of abuse or neglect and signposts them to the relevant team. Therefore, this role involves a substantial amount of working with connected services including the voluntary sector and long term teams. As the first point of contact, this position is pivotal to the progression of all cases. Promoting empowerment, advocacy and comprehensive risk assessment is key to the success of the team.
Strong communication skills are essential in order to be successful in this role. Experience in a safeguarding specialised team lends exceptionally well to this post. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years' experience working in an adult's safeguarding setting are essential for this position.
