We're looking for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to support our month-end close and reporting processes across Pentland's portfolio of world-class brands. WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?

As our Assistant Management Accountant you will:

• Deliver accurate and timely month-end tasks across the Group
• Prepare and review P&L reports for brands and functions, analysing variances to budget/forecast
• Take ownership of specific cost areas, ensuring accuracy and insight
• Submit financial results via OneStream and reconcile with SAP
• Provide narrative commentary that brings clarity to financial performance
• Produce clear and insightful management accounting reports for stakeholders
• Complete detailed balance sheet reconciliations and support year-end audit processes
• Drive improvements in finance processes and reporting quality
• Manage cost centre reporting and respond promptly to queries
• Maintain documentation of accounting processes and responsibilities

WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?

You just might be our next superstar if you have the following skills and experience:

• Part-qualified (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or with equivalent experience
• Strong in accounting fundamentals with excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel and confident working with large datasets
• A clear communicator who can explain financials to non-finance colleagues
• Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
• Experienced with SAP and/or OneStream (preferred, not essential)
• Adaptable, collaborative, and eager to take ownership
