Job summary

NTT DATA North America seeks a z/OS Mainframe Storage Consultant to manage the zSeries Storage hardware and software operations in Sheffield. This role involves overseeing large infrastructure projects, ensuring service quality, and liaising with vendors.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience with z/OS systems, especially in Mainframe Storage, and possess strong skills in automation and Agile methodologies. A hybrid work setup is offered with a focus on employee well-being.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of z/OS systems experience, specifically with Mainframe Storage.
• Experience with Storage platforms in Object area.
• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility in scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform a Technical Project Management role for large zSeries infrastructure deployments.
• Design, configure, test, implement, and support zSeries Storage hardware/software.
• Setup automation to reduce manual interventions in the Storage infrastructure.
