Job summary

Brinkworth Productions is seeking a Channel Manager for a 1 year fixed term contract in London. You will own publishing across our owned channels, packaging content and analysing results to drive growth, monetisation, and audience engagement.

This hands-on role requires strong YouTube expertise and the ability to translate strategy into briefs and schedules. You'll manage publishing, thumbnails, descriptions and playlists, while coordinating with the video editor and cross-platform teams.

Qualifications

• Two to three years running YouTube channels with clear results.
• Genuine fluency in YouTube Studio and analytics.
• Fluency with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and in-platform analytics.
• A real eye for packaging and storytelling to engage audiences.
• Editorial judgement to translate strategy into briefs and publishing decisions.
• Highly organized, curious and able to own concurrent priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the publishing calendar across our owned channels.
• Oversee digital content packaging: titles, thumbnails, descriptions, tags, chapters, playlists, end screens.
• Be our in-house YouTube expert; manage upload schedule for long-form and Shorts.
• Run day-to-day channel operations in YouTube Studio and secondary platforms.
• Conduct A/B tests and act on findings with a test-and-learn mindset.
• Own community management: comments, moderation, audience feedback.
• Build and run weekly performance reporting and insights.
• Maximise content for monetisation; collaborate with the video editor.
