Job summary

Tentoesmedia is seeking a YouTube Channel Manager to join our sports-content team in London. You will own end-to-end channel management, from planning and editing to live streams and performance optimisation.

You'll edit with Premiere Pro/After Effects, create thumbnails in Photoshop, manage rights, moderation, and client reporting. The role requires weekend/evening work aligned with sports calendar and a commercial mindset to maximise reach and revenue.

Qualifications

• Proven experience growing high-performing YouTube channels in sport.
• Strong knowledge of YouTube best practices (packaging, thumbnails, titles).
• Experience with live streams and streaming software.
• Proficient in Photoshop for thumbnails.
• Commercial mindset with revenue optimization focus.
• Ability to work weekends/evenings as per sporting calendar.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day YouTube channel management including planning, editing, scheduling and optimisation.
• Edit long-form and Shorts content with Premiere Pro and After Effects tailored to audience and platform.
• Package uploads with titles, thumbnails, descriptions, chapters, playlists and end screens; create thumbnails in Photoshop.
• Plan and run live streams end to end including setup, monitoring and post-stream repurposing.
• Lead publication on event days coordinating with content team and client for timely output.
• Maintain the channel content calendar aligned with sporting calendar and client objectives.
• Drive growth and monetisation, optimise CTR, retention and watch time; maximise revenue opportunities.
• Manage rights and brand safety: Content ID and third-party footage per guidelines.
• Moderate community and engage audience; post updates and spot engagement opportunities.
• Track performance, run tests (thumbnails/titles) and provide client reporting insights.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact on YouTube; participate in ideation and reviews.
• Stay ahead of platform updates and share best practices with agency.
