Overall Responsibilities

We are recruiting both trainee and experienced support workers to work with teenagers within Care Homes, Educational Settings, and Semi-Independent Living Accommodations. Our ideal candidate would be reliable and eager to make a positive difference in young people’s lives by providing quality care. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Build strong professional relationships.
• Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Safeguard service users from abuse.
• Write accurate reports and keep records for monitoring purposes.
• Attend work reliably and punctually.
• Deliver high-quality care in compliance with regulations, legislation, and procedures, and perform additional duties as required to meet residents' needs.

We support young people aged 13 to 21 who are in the care system for various reasons. These young people may have disorders, behaviors, and needs requiring support workers with confidence, understanding, and patience. They may face challenges like mental health issues and emotional difficulties but are preparing for independence. Your role involves providing guidance, interaction, and support to promote their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional development. Tasks include supporting skill development such as meal prep, social activities, family contacts, education, and shopping.

Rates of Pay

Dependent on experience. Full-time positions available for experienced candidates, with opportunities for those new to the sector to gain experience while working around their availability.
