Marsm has received a grant which will cover three paid internships this year.

Young Producers Residency 2025–2026

Paid Opportunity| Ages 18–25 | Part-time | You can be based anywhere in the UK (we’re in London)

Are you passionate about music and want to make your own event happen? Do you have ideas that bring people together, celebrate culture, or create new sounds?

Marsmis looking forthree young creatives(aged 18–25) to join ourYoung Producers Residency– a 9-month, paid opportunity where you’ll learn how to produce your own music event from start to finish. This is a commitment of30 hoursper month for9 months.

What’s the role?

You’ll work part-time with the Marsm team, to produce your own project. At a glance, this could mean:

  • Budgeting
  • Marketing & social media
  • Programming & production
  • Collaborating with artists and venues
  • Running the event on the day

We’ll guide you through it all withtraining sessions, adedicated mentor, and real behind-the-scenes experience.

Who are we looking for?

We want to hear from young people all over the UK who are:

  • Excited by music and live events
  • Interested inevent planning,production, orcreative community work
  • Full of ideas and energy,even if you’ve never done this before
  • Open to learning, collaborating, and growing your skills

Past producers through this programme have created:
A sold-out club night, a dabke dance workshop and an open mic night that still runs to this day!

About Marsm

Marsm is a London-based events producer working across the UK, Europe and Canada. Since 2015, we’ve been promoting the best and boldest artists from the SWANA (South West Asia and North Africa) from oud to rap, techno to tarab.

We host club nights, concerts, talks, film screenings and more. We’re all about creating space for sounds and stories that don’t always get heard.

Stage 2: Shortlisted applicantswill be given a task to expand on their event idea. (This might not be the event you end up producing).

Stage 3: Interview
We’ll invite shortlisted applicants for an interview with the Marsm team.

This programme starts inJune 2025and runs untilFeb 2026.
