Job summary

Educato Recruitment seeks Youth Workers to support pupils in secondary SEMH settings across Greater Manchester. You will engage with young people who may have struggled in mainstream education, helping them build confidence and positive relationships.

Ideal candidates bring experience with youth work, mentoring, residential care or community projects, with a patient, resilient approach and a willingness to set boundaries when needed. Full-time school-based opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with teenagers or young people, especially in SEMH or similar settings.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Patience, resilience and the ability to think on your feet.
• Confidence setting boundaries and managing difficult situations.
• A positive, non-judgemental approach to supporting young people.

Responsibilities
