Are you passionate about working with young people on their education and personal development? Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Secondary Youth Support Worker to work closely with Class Teachers and students to provide vital support within the classroom.

As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students' development and build strong connections within the school community. We are looking for Support Workers for secondary schools across Lancaster & Preston.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students aged 11-16, both 1:1 and in small groups in academic and personal development.
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and time management.
  • Creating a safe environment that promotes student engagement and builds confidence.
  • Support the teacher in assessing and applying individual strategies for students to monitor their progress.

  • Knowledgeable in Core Subjects: Confidence in English, Maths, and Science (GCSE grades A*-C).
