  • Chantry Academy – Ipswich, Suffolk IP2 9LR
  • £24,372.97 – £27,053.51 per annum
  • 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, Monday – Friday 2pm – 8pm
  • Part Time

Join us in creating opportunities that help young people thrive! We’re looking for a motivated Youth Worker to support and empower young people aged 10-16. This role focuses on social education, mentoring, and engagement through a variety of activities, ensuring young people feel supported, included, and inspired.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging directly with young people, supporting their development and social skills
  • Creating and leading youth activities outside of school hours
  • Providing a safe and welcoming environment for young people to learn, grow, and socialise
  • Advocating for young people, ensuring their voices are heard
  • Building strong relationships with local schools and community organisations to enhance youth opportunities


What we’re looking for:

  • A Level 3 Qualification in Youth Work (or relevant experience)
  • Experience working with young people in a youth work, mentoring, or support role
  • Understanding of youth-related challenges and the ability to offer guidance and support
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and school holidays
  • A positive, energetic, and proactive approach to engaging young people
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and equal opportunities
