Join Our Client’s Team

Join our client in creating opportunities that help young people thrive! They are looking for an enthusiastic Youth Worker to support and empower young people aged 10 - 16. This role focuses on social education, mentoring, and engagement through a variety of activities, ensuring young people feel supported, included, and inspired.

Job title: Youth Worker

Location: Ipswich

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time

Hours: Monday to Friday between 14:00 - 20:00 (30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year) - Flexible working patterns/hours can be discussed during the interview.

Salary: ALT Grade G points 20 – 24: £30,060 - £33,366 FTE; £24,372.97 - £27,053.51 Annually Actual

  • Building strong relationships with local schools and community organisations to enhance youth opportunities.

What They’re Looking For:

  • A Level 3 Qualification in Youth Work (or relevant experience).
  • Experience working with young people in a youth work, mentoring, or support role.
  • Understanding of youth-related challenges and the ability to offer guidance and support.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
  • A positive, energetic, and proactive approach to engaging young people.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and equal opportunities.
