Job summary

Cheshire College South and West is seeking a Learner Wellbeing and Inclusion Coach for Crewe Campus. You will support 16-19 learners, including those with SEND or from disadvantaged backgrounds, to overcome barriers to learning and wellbeing through one-to-one and group interventions.

You will collaborate with safeguarding teams, develop life-skills plans, and maintain accurate records in line with GDPR while building strong external partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in education or young people’s services.
• Experience of working and communicating effectively with young people who are disadvantaged and/or vulnerable.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Work with Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team Leader to identify learners at risk of not achieving goals.
• Support learners with attendance, disaffection, safety and personal circumstances.
• Provide sustainable strategies to improve learners' lives and life skills.
• Support learners with anxiety, self-harm, exams stress, sexual health and relationships.
• Provide a drop-in facility and assist with wellbeing and safeguarding support.
• Establish excellent relationships with external agencies.
• Ensure documentation meets GDPR and quality standards.
